Edin Ahmetspahić Remarkable things (quotes, publicity of the event, impact on participants or public, reception, etc): After the competition, a short informal gathering with participants was held. During this gathering, the participants pointed out that debate competition is a unique event during which all participants can state their argumentative attitudes free from judgments. It is also very important that two topics: juvenile delinquency and EU, were bind together as a whole, within which debaters researched both at the same time. These competitions should be continued because they enable the debaters from one region to meet each other and, more importantly, exchange debate experience and knowledge. Lessons learned (if any): Research is the basis for creation of arguments, and arguments are foundations of the debate. All participants were introduced to the basics of research before the competition, but during the workshop in the Event, they learned how to create a well rounded research material and how to use the collected information to create arguments in the best way.
