Falls ein Kabel mit anderen Werten für C Kabel /m and L Kabel /m verwendet wird, muss die maximal zulässige Kabellänge neu berechnet werden. Um längere Kabel bei einer bestimmten Gasgruppe einsetzen zu können, kann die maximale Versorgungsspannung nach EN 50020:2002 reduziert werden. In diesen Fällen muss die maximale Versorgungsspannung auf dem Typenschild und in den Sicherheitshinweisen spezifiziert werden. 7 Sicherheitshinweise: Installation Sicherheitshinweise Zone 0 und Zone 20 Gemäß Herstellerangaben und den gültigen Normen und Regeln installieren. Installations- und Sicherheitshinweise der Betriebsanleitung beachten. Die Geräte nur in solchen Messstoffen einsetzen, gegen die die mediumsberührten Materialien hinreichend beständig sind. Falls der UC2-Druckgeber eine Aluminiumhülse aufweist und/oder das Material des Gehäuses oder Teile des Gerätes aus Titan bestehen (siehe Bestellcode), so ist der UC2-Druckgeber in der Weise zu installieren, dass Reib- und Schlagfunken vermieden werden. Der Druckgeber UC2 braucht nicht separat an ein Potentialausgleich-System angeschlossen zu werden, wenn der Umfang des Gerätes fest angebunden wird und in metallischen Kontakt mit strukturellen Teilen und / oder der Verrohrung ist, die wiederum an das Potentialausgleichsystem angeschlossen sind. Der Umgebungstemperaturbereich des Drucktransducers UC2 liegt bei -20 C Ta +65 C. Bei der Zusammenschaltung des Messgerätes mit eigensicheren Stromkreisen der Kategorie Ex ib mit der Explosionsgruppe IIC bzw. IIB ändert sich die Zündschutzart wie folgt: EEx ib IIC T6 bzw. EEx ib IIB T6. Das Gerät ist für den Betrieb in Zone 21 oder Zone 1 (Gehäuse) sowie Zone 20 oder Zone 0 (Prozessanschluss) ausgelegt. Die Eignung bei gleichzeitigem Auftreten von explosionsfähigen Gas- Luft- und Staub-Luft-Gemischen bedarf einer zusätzlichen Beurteilung. Die Kabeleinführung dicht verschließen (siehe Gehäuseschutzart in der Tabelle oben). Geräte in explosionsfähigen Dampf-Luftgemischen nur unter atmosphärischen Bedingungen betreiben: -20 C T +60 C 0,8 bar p 1,1 bar Liegen keine explosionsfähigen Gemische vor oder sind Zusatzmaßnahmen gemäß EN getroffen, dürfen die Geräte auch außerhalb der atmosphärischen Bedingungen gemäß ihrer Herstellerspezifikation betrieben werden. Zugehörige Betriebsmittel mit galvanischer Trennung zwischen eigensicheren und nicht-eigensicheren Stromkreisen bevorzugen. Endress+Hauser 7

If a cable is used with other values for C cable /m and L cable /m, the maximum allowable cable length has to be recalculated. To achieve higher cable lengths at a fixed gas group, the maximum supply voltage shall be reduced acc. to EN 50020:2002. In these cases, the maximum supply voltage has to be specified on the nameplate and in the safety instructions. 11 Safety instructions: Installation Safety notes for Zone 0 and Zone 20 Install the device according to the manufacturer s instructions and any other valid standards and regulations. Comply with the installation and safety instructions in the Operating Instructions. Only install the devices in media for which the wetted materials have sufficient durability. If the pressure transducer UC2 is assembled with the aluminum cap and / or the material of the housing or parts of the UC2 is titanium (see order code) install the pressure transducer UC2 in such a way that impact and frictions sparks are avoided. The pressure transducer UC2 need not be separately connected to the equipotential bonding system if the enclosure is firmly secured to, and is in metallic contact with, structural parts or piping which are connected to the equipotential bonding system. The ambient temperature range of the pressure transducer UC2 is -20 C Ta +65 C. The type of protection changes as follows when the devices are connected to certified intrinsically safe circuits of Category Ex ib for Equipment Groups IIC and IIB: EEx ib IIC T6 or EEx ib IIB T6. The device is designed for operation in Zone 21 or Zone 1 (housing) as well as Zone 20 or Zone 0 (process connection). Its suitability in the event of potentially explosive gas-air and dustair mixtures occurring simultaneously requires further assessment. Seal the cable entry tight (see housing ingress protection in the table above). Only operate the pressure transducer UC2 in potentially explosive atmosphere under atmospheric conditions: -20 C Ta +60 C 0,8 bar p 1,1 bar If no potentially explosive mixtures are present, or if additional protection measures have been taken, according to EN , the UC2 may be operated under other than atmospheric conditions in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications.
