About Our Parish Registration Please make Christ Our King your parish by filling out a registration card. Cards can be found in the rear of the church or by visiting the Parish Office in the Life Center. It has become a general procedure that statements testifying to the active, participating, contributing status of an individual be provided for those wishing to be sacramental sponsors. We cannot issue such statements if you are not a registered and active member of Christ Our King. You must use the offertory envelopes provided to registered parishioners to verify your active status. Infant and Child Care Infant and child care (ages 6 weeks to 4 years of age) is provided during the 9:30 am and 12 Noon Masses in the Preschool located in the Life Center. Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) Those wishing to join in full communion with the Catholic Church are invited to participate in the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults. Please call Sister Donna Lareau, OLM at 843-971-8273, or Lola Reilly at 843-972-8531. Baptism We celebrate Baptism following the Noon Mass on the first three Sundays of each month, with the exception of Lent and Advent. Please call Sharon Willi at 843-971- 8083 to obtain more information. Sacramental Policy In order to receive First Holy Communion or Confirmation, students in Grades 2 and 8 must attend TWO FULL YEARS of religious instructions if they are NOT in our Catholic School system. No more than THREE (3) classes can be missed during the year of sacramental preparation. Marriage Arrangements must be made six months in advance prior to marriage. The mission schedule includes prayer, scripture readings and a sermon. An offer to hear the attendees confession will be made each evening.
