Would that the Lord might bestow his spirit on them all!... There is no one who performs a mighty deed in my name who can at the same me speak ill of me. Anyone who gives you a cup of water to drink because you belong to Christ, amen, I say to you, surely will not lose his reward. On the day of my bap sm I was anointed and told that I share with Jesus in His role as priest, prophet and king. A prophet is one who speaks for the Lord. God chose the seventy two in the book of numbers, Jesus chose His twelve apostles and disciples, and today we are blessed with the same role. We are able to speak by our deeds, preaching by our ac ons. When Jesus told St. Francis to rebuild His church, He entrusted the mission of bringing the lived gospel to others. Our role today is no different. We pray for voca ons to the priesthood and religious life, but we also pray that we and all may accept their/our role as prophets for the Lord. La consapevolezza della gratuità del dono di Cristo ci obbliga a valorizzare tu o ciò che, nel mondo, fa presagire e manifesta la sua presenza redentrice, perché Cristo, unico ad avere una risposta esauriente all inquietudine presente nel cuore dell uomo, può inviare lo Spirito Santo a illuminare il cuore di ogni persona. Nadie puede hacer un milagro en mi Nombre y luego hablar mal de mí. Les aseguro que no quedará sin recompensa el que les dé de beber un vaso de agua por el hecho de que ustedes pertenecen a Cristo. En el día de mi bau smo se me ungió y se me dijo que compar ría con Jesús su papel de sacerdote, profeta y rey. Un profeta es uno que habla en nombre del Señor. Dios escogió setenta y dos en el libro de números, Jesús escogió Sus doce apóstoles y discípulos, y hoy somos bendecidos con el mismo papel. Somos capaces de hablar por nuestras obras, predicando por nuestras acciones. Cuando Jesús le dijo a San Francisco que reconstruyera Su iglesia, El le encomendó la misión de llevar el evangelio viviente a otros. Nuestro papel hoy no es diferente. Oramos por vocaciones al sacerdocio y la vida religiosa, pero también oramos para que nosotros y todos podamos aceptar nuestro y su papel como profetas del Señor.
