During this Year of St. Joseph, the Holy Father invites us to reflect more deeply on how St. Joseph loved Jesus with a father s heart. Joseph s unhesitating adherence to God s will as he faithfully and lovingly protected the Christ Child and the Blessed Mother bears witness to our own call as Christians to safeguard God s gift of human life. Donations Accepted - ROOM FOR THE RESTLESS God has blessed our parish with many little children who are restless from time to time. As a result, some parishioners find it difficult to be attentive to the Mass prayers and preaching. Parents also find themselves in an awkward situation. For these reasons I m reopening what we traditionally called the Crying Room effective immediately. As I do so, I want to clarify that this room is for the sole use of parents with young restless children. This room is not be used by anyone without little ones. It is my hope that this will provide parents a space as needed and thereby provide a less distracting environment for others during Mass. - Nuestra Santísima Madre y su Santo Rosario. El mes de octubre está dedicado a Nuestra Santísima Madre y su Santo Rosario. El 9 de Octubre a las 4:00 pm, la comunidad de St. Mary's será la anfitriona de nuestra 2da. "Rosario Viviente". Este evento se lleva a cabo al aire libre, en el estacionamiento frente al santuario de Nuestra Señora de Fátima. Se requerirán cubreboca y se observará distanciamiento social. Para crear este hermoso homenaje a Nuestra Señora, pedimos la participación de al menos 60 personas. Cada voluntario representará una cuenta y se colocará en forma de rosario. Una persona sostendrá un micrófono y se moverá a través del "rosario humano". Esta es una oración muy poderosa y una experiencia maravillosa! St. Mary's Lifeteen High School youth group starts Sunday, October 10, 2022 from 6:00pm to 7:00pm please join us!! Bring a friend! Food, Fun and Faith!!! Our Blessed Mother and her Holy Rosary. The month of October is dedicated to our Blessed Mother and her Holy Rosary. On October the 9th at 4pm, the community of St. Mary's will be hosting our 2nd annual "Living Rosary". This event is held outdoors, in the parking lot in front of Our Lady of Fatima's shrine. Masks will be required and social distancing will be observed. To create this beautiful homage to Our Lady, we are asking for at least 60 people to participate. Each volunteer will represent a bead and be placed in the shape of a rosary. One person will hold a microphone and move through the "human rosary". This is a very powerful prayer and wonderful experience!! If you would like to be part of this "Human Rosary" please call Patty Liekhus at (714)-3567315. Families, friends and parishioners are welcome to join us. Bring your chairs and rosaries. This takes approximately 30-40 minutes. Saturday night Mass and "Bingo, Burgers and Brew" will follow. This is a great family activity, as we say the rosary one person at a time while we pray for our world. Thank You St Mary s Parishioners! Once again St. Mary s parishioners demonstrated amazing generosity when the call was put out for items for our seven Seminarians. We were able to deliver a box to each of the Stockton Diocese Seminarians, as well as share some of the items with the Seminarians from other Diocese. They all received the items they had requested, plus much more! They are so appreciative of our prayers, love, and support.
