Please return both your Offertory Commitment form and the All Souls envelope as soon as possible, especially the All Souls envelope since November will be here before we know it. KEEP PRAYING that our churches in Stanislaus County can reopen again soon. Otherwise we may have to cancel some of our outside Masses depending on the weather. Ended U.S. taxpayer-funded research with body parts of aborted babies. 3. Cut Planned Parenthood s U.S. tax funding by $ 60 million. 4. Permitted States to defund Planned Parenthood of Title X funds. 5. Stopped U.S. tax dollars from funding abortion overseas. 6. Protected religious liberty and conscience rights, so that Catholic nuns won t be forced to provide abortion-inducing drugs in their health plans. 7. Required health insurance companies to disclose if their plans cover abortion. 8. Created a new U.S. Federal Office within the Health and Human Services Dept., called the Conscience and Religious Freedom Division, to protect health care professionals who do not want to participate in abortion. 9. Allowed the State of Texas to fund health programs that do not fund abortion providing businesses. 10. Took legal action against the State of California for violating the Weldon Amendment by discriminating against organizations that do not cover abortion in their health care plans.
