Betriebsanleitung (de) Hauptmerkmale und bestimmungsgemäßer Betrieb Die Einsatzplanung und der Betrieb des Ventilmagneten haben nach den allgemeinen Regeln der Technik und den jeweiligen Vorschriften und Gesetzen zu erfolgen. Für das Errichten elektrischer Anlagen übertage, in explosionsfähiger Atmosphäre, gilt allgemein die IEC/EN 60079-14. Der Ventilmagnet GBXE 022 S01 D03, bestehend aus Magnetkörper und Ankertubus ** FPC wird als Aktor im Pneumatikbereich eingesetzt. Zur Sicherung einer einwandfreien, gefahrlosen Funktion und langen Lebensdauer müssen die Hinweise dieser Betriebsanleitung beachtet und die Technischen Daten gemäß dieser Betriebsanleitung und der Gerätebeschriftung eingehalten werden. Unbeabsichtigte Betätigungen oder nicht zulässige Beeinträchtigungen sind durch geeignete Maßnahmen zu verhindern. Der Ventilmagnet wird ohne Gerätesteckdose geliefert. Zur Begrenzung der Ausschaltüberspannung sind intern, parallel zur Magnetspule, Dioden geschaltet. Die Angaben der Technischen Daten sind zu beachten. Umgebungsbedingungen Die Verwendung in explosionsgefährdeter Umgebung ist unter Beachtung der Gerätebeschriftung und der Betriebsanleitung vorzunehmen. Installation und Inbetriebnahme Diese Arbeiten dürfen nur von einer Elektrofachkraft mit entsprechender Qualifikation durchgeführt werden. Der elektrische Anschluss erfolgt über eine zugelassene Gerätesteckdose mit Befestigungsschraube. Die Inbetriebnahme gemäß den Technischen Daten ist nur in Verbindung mit dem zugehörigen Tubus im montierten Zustand an der vorgegebenen Ventileinheit zulässig. Die Ableitung der Eigenerwärmung und die statische Aufladung dürfen durch Überlackieren oder Abdecken der Magnetoberfläche nicht negativ beeinflusst werden. Staubablagerungen auf der Geräteoberfläche mit einer Dicke > 5 mm sind nicht zulässig und entsprechend zu entfernen. ACHTUNG!: Vor dem Arbeiten an Stromkreisen und vor dem Öffnen der Steckverbindung innerhalb des explosionsgefährdeten Bereichs sind die Stromkreise in spannungslosen / stromlosen Zustand zu schalten. Im explosionsgefährdeten Bereich dürfen nur die dafür zugelassenen Werkzeuge und Messmittel verwendet werden. Im Störfall sind die Leitungsanschlüsse und die Stromversorgung im nicht explosionsgefährdeten Arbeitsbereich auf ihre korrekte Funktion zu prüfen. Veränderungen oder Reparaturen am Magnetkörper oder Tubus sind nicht zulässig. Elektrostatische Aufladungen müssen durch geeignete Installations- und Reinigungsmaßnahmen verhindert werden (z. B. Reinigung nur mit feuchtem Tuch). Wartung Der Ventilmagnet ist bei bestimmungsgemäßem Einsatz entsprechend der Betriebsanleitung wartungsfrei. Allgemein ist für die Prüfung und Instandhaltung elektrischer Anlagen im explosionsgefährdeten Bereich über Tage die IEC/EN 60079-17 zu beachten. 3/8

Operating Manual (en) Main Features and Prescribed Operation Application engineering and operation of this valve solenoid must to be according to standard engineering practice and to all applicable regulations and laws. For the installation of electrical systems above ground in explosive atmospheres, IEC/EN 60079-14 must be generally observed. The valve solenoid GBXE 022 S01 D03, consisting of magnetic body and armature tube ** FPC is applied as an actuator in pneumatics. To ensure correct, safe operation and a long service life, the instructions and the technical data of this operating manual and of the device-labelling must be observed. Not allowed impairments or unintended operations must be prevented by appropriate means. The valve solenoid is delivered without device socket To limit transient overvoltages, internal diodes are connected in parallel to the coil. The technical data of this operating manual must be adhered to. Ambient Conditions If used in hazardous locations, the devicelabelling and operating manual must be strictly observed. Installation and Commissioning These operations have to be carried out by an electrician with adequate qualifications. The electrical connection must be made via a permitted device socket with mounting screw. In accordance with the technical data, use of solenoid is only allowed together with the appropriate tube in a mounted condition on the prescribed valve unit. Dissipation of internal heat and electrostatic charging must not be negatively influenced by overpainting or covering the solenoids surface. Dust deposits on the device s surface with a thickness > 5 mm are not permissible and have to be removed accordingly. ATTENTION!: Prior to carrying-out any work on electrical circuits and prior to opening the connector within hazardous locations, the electrical circuits must be switched off. Only the appropriate and permitted tools and measuring instruments are allowed for use in hazardous locations. If the valve solenoid fails to operate, the correct function of the cable connections and the power-supply must be examined outside the hazardous location. It is not allowed to modify or repair the coil or the tube. Electrostatic discharges have to be prevented by means of suitable installation and cleaning measures (e. g. cleaning only with a wet damp cloth). Maintenance No maintenance is necessary if the valve. solenoid is applied correctly according to the operating manual. For inspection and maintenance of electrical systems in potentially explosive areas above ground IEC/EN 60079-17 has generally to be observed. 6/8

Put the magnetic body in correspondence with the outline drawing on the tube, insert spring washer and tighten knurled nut with prescribed torque according to the outline drawing. Put on the already installed device socket (according to IEC/EN 60079-14) without voltage and tighten the accessory mounting screw.
